How To Sing Master Vocal Coach Ken Tamplin
Ken Tamplin has been around the world and back many times. Many call him a “singers singer”, tracing his vocal lineage to his cousin Sammy Hagar. Some of the biggest names in the music business have hailed his guitar playing, songwriting and production abilities. Ken has enjoyed tremendous success with the highly acclaimed bands Shout and Magdallan. He has also been asked to sing for world-famous groups Foreigner, INXS, Motley Crue, Skunk Baxter (Doobie Brothers), Geazer Butler (Black Sabbath), Journey, Peter Frampton, Jeff Lynn (ELO) and many others.
With all of this history and experience at his disposal, it provided Ken with a wonderful platform for scoring and source music for properties such as The Perfect Storm, The Waterboy, Inspector Gadget, Mod Squad, Wild America, Major League III, Charlie’s Angels, and many TV shows like 90210, Baywatch, X-Files, the theme for Ace Ventura (Nickelodeon), Spin City, Entertainment Tonight, Disney Now and the list goes on and on!
Ken has had the privilege of winning 3 Dove Awards (similar to Gospel Grammys) as well as 14 nominations over his career.
On top of all this, Ken Tamplin has continued his successes in national television commercials for Ford, Nissan, Honda, Mazda, Japan Airlines, Lux, Lee, Hot Wheels, Shakey’s… to name just a few.
Ken has a philanthropic CD entitled “Make Me Your Voice” on Spring Hill/EMI which featured gospel great Andre Crouch and Charlie Peacock, which also played a key role in the presidential signing of the $300 million Sudan Peace Act, October 2003.
